Curiosity kills animals I know, but ...
Feb. 3rd, 2011 05:40 pmOne of the problems that occasionally comes up on the IAGSDC website is that couples share an email address. The system however uses email address as a convenient 'unique' identifier for members. The result is that one half of the couple can create a profile, while the other can't.
I've never shared my personal email address with anyone else - and can't think why I'd want to. With hotmail, yahoo, and gmail all offering free accounts, it can't be a cost thing. So - I'm wondering; if you share an account with your partner, instead of having separate email addresses, why did you choose to do that? I assume that you get individual postal mail sent to you, and don't have everything addressed to both of you - so why do feel email needs to be a shared resource when regular mail isn't?
