The storm last night was certainly the biggest I've seen in New Mexico - now it turns out it set some records. At the airport (SunPort in Albuquerque marketing-speak) they had 0.9 inches - breaking the previous record by a half inch. In our little garden rain gauge, we had exactly 1 inch recorded. 

Thankfully, our house sits on top of a hill, so we are in no danger of flooding. But once again overnight the arroyos in Albuquerque were filled to bursting, and the Zuni Pueblo was flooded with two feet of water.

And more to come today according to the weather man. Anyone have plans for an ark they could email me?
