Sad news from Britain: Danny La Rue died yesterday.

Danny LaRue was a national icon. He brought glam-drag to the TV with his Danny La Rue show in the 70s. He headlined on multiple Royal Command Performances, and entertained with wonderful impersonations of Liz Taylor, Zsa Zsa Gabor, and even Margaret Thatcher!
I still remember the words to many of his songs - he released a number of very successful albums. Imagine - a drag queen that could actually dance, tell jokes, and sing! RIP Danny.
